The hard part of a gift is not the shopping. It is remembering far enough in advance, and then thinking of something that is actually for that person rather than something that is merely a gift.
Yuki has the first half already. Birthdays and anniversaries live in your People list and surface before they arrive, not on the morning of. The gift finder is the second half: give it a budget and it works from what it knows about the person.
What it starts from
- Who they are to you — a gift for your mother is not a gift for a colleague, and the suggestions should not pretend otherwise.
- What you have noted that they like — in your words, from things you actually wrote down.
- What you have given before — so you do not repeat yourself.
- The limit you set — "around €80" is a constraint, not a suggestion.
The reminder works today. Birthdays, anniversaries and occasions are live now — Yuki surfaces them in advance, with the people they belong to. That is the part that stops the scramble.

Is the gift finder available now?
Not yet — it is coming soon. What already works today is the part that makes it useful: Yuki tracks birthdays and anniversaries, reminds you before they arrive, and remembers what each person likes so an idea is not a guess.
How is this different from asking a chatbot for gift ideas?
A chatbot starts from nothing and gives you the same ten ideas it gives everyone. Yuki starts from the person — what you have noted that they like, what you have given before, what you have shared together, how much you said you wanted to spend. The ideas are narrower and the reason each one is suggested is visible.
Does Yuki buy the gift?
No. It finds options and shows them to you. Any purchase is yours to make, and a purchase Yuki could make on your behalf would always require an explicit approval first.
How does Yuki know what someone likes?
Because you told it, in your own words. Yuki only remembers things you have written — "Mum is into pottery", "Alex does not drink" — never things inferred from reading your mail. You can see everything it remembers about a person, and delete any of it.
