Splitting costs with other people usually means awkward maths and "who paid for what" group chats. Yuki turns it into a clear running balance: add what was paid, and it tells you exactly who owes whom and how to clear it.
What it does
- Groups & expenses — create a group, then add an expense recording who paid and the amount.
- Equal by default — costs split equally by default, or customise the split when shares aren’t even.
- Per-person balances — see exactly where you stand, e.g. "You owe €187.50" or "+€47.50".
- Settle up — a clear "Pay [name] €47.50" prompt and a Settle button to clear a balance in one tap.
- Buckets & currencies — organise costs into expense buckets and track across multiple currencies (€, £).
How it works
- 1Create a group for the people you’re sharing costs with — friends, family, a partner or roommates.
- 2Add an expense with who paid and the amount; Yuki splits it equally by default, or customise the split.
- 3Check per-person balances to see who owes whom, e.g. "You owe €187.50".
- 4Use the "Pay [name] €47.50" prompt and the Settle button to clear up.
Trips split themselves. Trip expenses split equally among trip members by default — so shared travel costs land in everyone’s balance without extra setup.
Frequently asked questions
Is Yuki a good Splitwise alternative?
Yes. Yuki has a built-in Splitwise-style settle-up: create a group, add expenses, split them, see per-person balances and settle up — with the difference that it lives alongside your trips, groups and everyday organisation instead of being a separate app.
Can I split costs unequally?
Yes. Expenses split equally by default, but you can customise the split so each person pays a different share.
Does it handle different currencies?
Yes. Yuki supports multiple currencies, so you can track and settle balances in € or £ as needed.
