Destination guide

Yuki shows an "Explore the destination" guide automatically on every trip — the practical essentials to know before you go.

Before any trip there’s a list of small but important things to check — do I need a visa, what plug do I need, can I drink the tap water, what’s the emergency number. Yuki answers all of them for you automatically, on the trip itself, so you stop hunting across a dozen browser tabs.

What it does

  • Visa & entry — tells you the visa requirement up front, e.g. "Visa required — apply before you go" or visa-free.
  • Money & power — the local currency (e.g. € EUR) and the plug type & voltage you’ll need (e.g. Type F / Type C, 230V · 50Hz).
  • Safety & health — the emergency number (e.g. 112 — Police · Medical · Fire) and tap water safety (e.g. "Safe — OK to drink from the tap").
  • When & how to get by — the best time to visit (e.g. "Apr–Jun, Sep–Oct"), the local language (e.g. Italian, English widely understood) and the international dial code (e.g. +39).
  • Place overview — a short overview of the capital and the specific city you’re visiting, for both country and city context.

How it works

  1. 1Open any trip in Yuki — a destination guide appears automatically for the country and city you’re heading to.
  2. 2See the one-line summary at a glance, e.g. "Visa-free · EUR · Type F plug · Tap water OK".
  3. 3Tap to expand it into the full guide with visa, currency, plug, voltage, emergency number, tap water, best time to visit, language and dial code.
  4. 4Read the short overview of the capital and your destination city so you arrive already knowing the essentials.
One line, everything you need. The summary line (e.g. "Visa-free · EUR · Type F plug · Tap water OK") is designed for a five-second glance — expand it only when you want the full detail.

Plan smarter trips with the essentials built in. Yuki is free on iOS and Android.

Frequently asked questions

Is tap water safe to drink in my destination?
Yuki tells you directly. Each destination guide includes a tap water safety line — for example "Safe — OK to drink from the tap" — so you know whether to refill your bottle or buy bottled water before you arrive.
How does Yuki know the visa, plug and currency for a country?
Yuki pulls the practical essentials for the country and city you’re visiting automatically — visa requirement, currency, plug type and voltage, emergency number, language, dial code and more — and shows them on the trip without you searching.
Do I have to look any of this up myself?
No. The guide appears automatically on every trip as a one-line summary that expands into the full details, so you don’t have to research visas, plugs or currencies separately.
